Home to some 25,000 people, Formby is a an attractive town close to Liverpool and Southport. Formby is a popular place to live for commuters , and enjoys great rail links. The town has something of a celebrity pedigree as it has also been a favorite spot for the top footballers of Liverpool and Everton to settle.
In the summer months Formby becomes a tourist hot spot, with day trippers attracted to its beaches, sand dunes, and wildlife, which includes one of the largest concentrations of native red squirrels in the UK.
